Niseko rules this season will require anyone who wishes to go off piste and into Niseko’s gates to (i) carry an avalanche beacon and (ii) wear a helmet.

These rules are strict with frequent ski patrol checks at gate entrances.

For your safety, we highly encourage everyone wishing to venture off piste to carry an avalanche beacon with you. For added convenience, we have included the option of beacon rental in the lodge. Beacons are limited so please make your reservation early to lock it in.
