Mountains we’ll be riding
Mt Hutt
Mt Hutt is Canterbury’s premier ski resort, known for its epic terrain—with wide-open groomers, playful off-piste areas, and stunning views over the Canterbury Plains. Advanced riders can look forward to its natural halfpipes and steep chutes for an extra challenge!
Mountains we’ll be riding
Porters
Porters is a local favorite for its laid-back vibe and epic terrain. With fast laps, steep chutes, and rolling runs, it’s a dream for intermediate to advanced riders. Charge down wide-open groomers or explore off-piste lines—truly a hidden gem in Canterbury!
Mountains we’ll be riding
Broken River
Club fields are best for intermediate to advanced riders who love big-mountain terrain without the crowds!
Broken River is a hidden gem in Canterbury’s club field scene, offering steep bowls, open faces, and playful terrain perfect for riders who love to explore. With a mix of wide-open groomers and technical off-piste zones, it’s a freerider’s dream. The nutcracker rope tow system adds to the adventure, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll have access to some of the best powder stashes in New Zealand.
Mountains we’ll be riding
Craigieburn
Craigieburn is for riders who crave steep, technical terrain. With no groomed runs, this club field is all about big-mountain freeriding, featuring chutes, narrow ridge lines, and wide-open faces that demand confidence and skill. The famous Craigieburn “Highway” delivers some of the longest, most exhilarating descents in Canterbury.
Mountains we’ll be riding
Mt Cheeseman
Mount Cheeseman has two T-bars providing quick access to wide-open groomers, rolling off-piste zones, and natural features ideal for carving, cruising, and exploring. The north-facing slopes ensure plenty of sunny days for fast laps, playful terrain, and laid-back mountain vibes!
