Myoko Snowboard Intermediate Camp
You’re in for a treat at one of our favourite ski spots — fewer crowds, quality snow, terrain for all levels, and one of Japan’s longest freestyle parks. We’re also going deeper into the terrain this season, taking you to secret resorts that only the locals know about! Whether you’re coming solo or with friends, we welcome riders of all levels. Our crew will split into smaller groups by skill level, so you’ll always have people to ride with — and push your limits. Our hosts will be with you throughout the week, sorting out your trip logistics, give you riding tips and showing you our favorite powder runs that we’ve known for years.

Evening
Unwind at Myoko’s local onsens, eat, drink and hang out with the group. If you’re staying at Mountain Lodge, your package includes daily onsen ticket to Landmark Onsen next door. Dinner reservations will also be made each night at our favourite spots in Myoko. Prefer a quiet night in or on a budget? You’ll also have the option to cook and hang out at the lodge instead!
Each evening, our team of hosts will check the latest snow and weather conditions to pick the best resort for the next day, and give you tips on how to layer up properly!
Till next time
Just like that, it’s Saturday again and you’ll be off to your next adventure, on or off the board – but this is not goodbye, it’s see you again! If you’re heading to another location and would like to arrange for Ta-Q-Bin/ Black Cat to do a pick up for your bags, we’ll bring you to the nearest outpost on Friday evening before 6PM.

The largest ski area in Myoko, you can expect wide groomers for beginners and intermediates to progress on as well as steep terrain with epic tree runs for the advanced riders.
Mountains we’ll be riding
Ikenotaira
Beginner-friendly resort with long and wide piste runs with good tree riding options. Perfect to warm up the legs for the week.
Mountains we’ll be riding
Suginohara
Home to Japan’s longest run at 8.5km, with lots to see along the way. Sugi has something for everyone — steep tree runs, piste of all colours and even moguls for the skiers 😉

This one’s a crowd favourite! Riding at Nozawa Onsen is the perfect mix of scenic cruising and cultural charm. The resort offers a generous spread of long, open runs ideal for beginners and intermediates, alongside steeper trails and off-piste zones for those wanting more of a challenge. Once you’re off the slopes, you’re straight into a quaint village filled with steaming onsens, narrow streets, and some of the best après-ski eats in Japan.
Mountains we’ll be riding
Madarao
Madarao is great for later in the week once your legs are warmed up! This resort is all about playful powder and tree runs, with 60% of the terrain left ungroomed. The resort features multiple official tree courses and natural bowls, great for intermediate riders looking to explore off-piste in a safe, controlled environment.
