Minimum Ride Level
Designed for intermediate snowboarders looking to learn the higher-level techniques of riding steeper slopes and get introduced to off-piste, powder terrain and tree runs. Through the guidance of our certified instructors, you'll refine your technique, correct the bad habits holding you back, and build the confidence to take on red and black runs safely and effectively. Tomamu is the ideal place to make that jump — progressive red and black terrain to push your limits step by step, gentle off-piste and easy tree runs for your first taste of powder, and one of the best freestyle parks in Japan to start adding tricks. Expect to move beyond the groomers — your first proper turns on steeper terrain, an introduction to carving, and maybe a little freestyle too. Pre-requisites: - Able to link S-turns very confidently on all green runs - Comfortable riding a chairlift, and ready to start linking turns on red/blue terrain - Attempted steeper runs (reds & blacks) but looking to improve your technique
