The Ride Side – Terms & Conditions and Liability Agreement

These Terms & Conditions form a binding agreement between you (“the Customer”) and The Ride Side Pte. Ltd. (“the Company”).
By booking a trip or service with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the following terms.


1. General Terms

1.1. The Company reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
1.2. In the case of any inconsistency between these Terms and any other communication, these Terms shall prevail.
1.3. The Company acts as an agent for various service providers and is not responsible for their acts or omissions.


2. Bookings, Payments & Pricing

2.1 Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when full payment is received and a booking confirmation email is issued.
Submitting an enquiry, starting a payment, or holding items in your cart does not constitute a confirmed booking.

3. Cancellations, Refunds & Trip Transfers

3.1 Cancellation by the Customer

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
The following charges apply based on time before trip begins:

Add-On Cancellations: A 5% administrative fee applies per add-on order.

Pregnancy Exception

Full refund (less 3.5% transaction fees) if notice, and medical proof is submitted ≥90 days before the trip begins.
Within 90 days, standard cancellation terms apply.

3.2 Trip Transfer (Transferring Your Slot)

You are entitled to one (1) complimentary trip transfer if you cannot attend the trip.
The transferred slot may be used for:

If the new choice costs more, the difference must be paid.
If it costs less, no refund will be given.

3.3 Cancellation by the Company

The Company may cancel trips due to operational issues, insufficient participants, safety concerns, force majeure events

If cancelled, you may choose:

This refund represents the full extent of the Company’s liability.

Refunds will be processed within 2–4 weeks.

5. Unused Services & Operational Limitations

No refunds or credits will be provided for unused services, including but not limited to:

The Company is not responsible for missed flights, schedule changes, delays, or customer-managed travel arrangements.


6. Eligibility & Travel Documents

6.1. Participants must be 18+ unless accompanied by a legal guardian and approved in writing.
6.2. You are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, permits, and all entry documentation.
6.3. The Company is not liable for losses arising from incorrect or incomplete travel documents.


7. Mandatory Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is compulsory and must cover:

Proof of insurance must be submitted at least 7 days before travel.

Failure to provide proof may result in denied participation with no refund.


8. Assumption of Risk, Waiver of Liability & Indemnity

8.1 Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that winter sports and travel involve inherent risks, including injury, illness, disability, or death.
By participating, you voluntarily assume all such risks.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive all claims against the Company and its representatives for:

9. Third-Party Providers

The Company acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for the actions, omissions, or service quality of hotels, transport operators, rental shops, or other partners.
Disputes must be directed to the provider.


10. Accommodation, Special Requests & Conduct

10.1. Rooming assignments are based on availability; changes may occur without compensation.
10.2. Special requests (dietary, room type, etc.) are not guaranteed.
10.3. The Company may remove any participant for unsafe, disruptive, or illegal behaviour without refund.


11. Staff Assignment & Trip Operations

Staff assignments (hosts, guides, instructors) are at the Company’s discretion.
Operational conditions at resorts (e.g., lift closures, weather) are outside Company control.
No refunds will be provided for such disruptions.


12. Privacy, Communications & Media Use

12.1. Personal data is handled in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy.
12.2. By booking, you consent to receiving essential trip updates and optional marketing messages.
12.3. The Company may photograph or film participants for promotional use unless you opt out in writing before the trip.

Participants may not use or publish images of Trip Staff without written consent.


13. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Singapore law.
Disputes will first be resolved through negotiation, then mediation (SMC), and failing that, arbitration (SIAC) or Singapore courts.


14. Wrongful Claims

If you file a claim in breach of these Terms and it is deemed frivolous or baseless, you agree to indemnify the Company for all legal costs and damages incurred in defending the claim.


15. Minor Photography Consent

If your booking includes a minor, you confirm you are the legal guardian and consent to their images being used in promotional materials unless you opt out in writing at least 7 days before trip start.


16. Miscellaneous

The Company may adjust itineraries, pricing, services, or schedules at any time as required by operational needs.
Such changes do not entitle the Customer to compensation unless expressly stated.
