Who We Are
Since 2015
The Ride Side was built on the belief that experiences are made better with the people you share it with.

What started as a few friends chasing winter has grown into a 5,000-strong community (and counting!). When people told us it’s impossible to build a ski-snowboard community in tropical Singapore – we said “why not”, and here we are, 10 years later – and we’re happy to meet you.

We’re here to make your snow trips fuss-free, unforgettable, filled with great people and even better vibes — on and off the slopes. All you have to do is to pick a week, book a slot & show up – we take care of the rest.

Been on 2 trips with TRS so far and looking forward to more! Joined the Aomori Intermediate Snowboard Camp in 2024, and the Myoko Hosted Experience in 2025. I highly recommend the Hosted Experience if you’re at an intermediate level, as I learnt a lot and had a ton of fun 🙂 The hosts were also really fun to be around.

I’ve made lots of good friends through the trips, and continued to jio them on other trips. This is really the best place to find like-minded friends who you get to ride with again in the future.

I went for a hosted trip with The Ride Side in Myoko this season, and they brought us to 4 different resorts in the span of a week with various highlights; really nice tree runs, jumps and park so there’s something for everyone. It’s always a good time being hosted by experienced riders who know the terrain well and can bring you to off-piste areas you’d otherwise be wary of trying on your own, which in turn helps you to grow as a rider. And the community aspect of the trip is great too; always fun riding with fellow guests who are like-minded people passionate about the sport! (if you’re lucky maybe you could learn a ground trick or two)

Also really appreciated the effort put into finding good food and making restaurant reservations to ensure that we were well fed off the slopes! Despite not joining this particular trip with friends, the hosts made me feel very comfortable and many friends were made by the end of the week 🙂

Big shout out to the team for the great experience! In particular, Glen for being patient and offering advice navigating through tougher terrain. And can’t thank CJ enough for taking extremely good care of me when I got injured – literally wasn’t worried at all despite having a fracture because I knew I was in good hands. Good vibes all round 🙂

Had a fun first season with TRS in Myoko, been wanting to learn snowboarding for a couple of years and when the chance came up this year, I took it. Met alot of awesome people and thankful for their advice in how to ride better. Thanks to the awesome grp of hosts and instructors for the daily planning and driving around. Looking forward to the next season!!

I got so much more than a snowboarding trip, a total experience on and off the mountain!
Was apprehensive at first prior to signing up after looking at their IG action videos as I had just switched to snowboard a yr prior (still a noob) and the obvious age difference (I’m a senior). But, they looked like so much fun, cost-wise fair bit cheaper than an equivalent solo trip (lodgings, car, fuel, tolls, mountain guide, etc) and of cos convenience, they have everything planned and arranged.
They totally exceeded my expectations! Never had I experienced so many different terrains, on and off piste, tree runs, different snow conditions deep light pow, heavy pow, hard pack, icy, slushy. Would never had nerve to explore all this without therideside, wonderfully organised, super fun hosts that know the mountain like the back of their hands (i dont mean just piste runs but offpiste, tree runs, snow conditions of each on any particular day, where the dangers are, everything!), tips on riding different terrains/conditions and awesome fellow guests, somehow they just attract amazing people!!
I ended up signing up for all 4 locations for 24/25 north season. Only downside is the withdrawals as the season ended …but they released their south season bookings just at that time, managed to book a slot and all is good again. Tip: their trips fill up fast so don’t hesitate, you snooze you lose.
