Aizu 1 Butterdojo X TRS Groundtricks Progression

Min level: 4 — strong intermediate and up A special collaboration with The Butter Dojo, led by founder Kai and coach Michael, for riders who’ve got the basics dialled in and want to take their gratori further. Gratori is Japan’s flatland ground-trick style — built on flow, precise board control and clean technique, rather than big air and hard landings. This camp is about levelling up: refining what you already have and linking it into proper combos and bigger rotations, with coaching tailored to where you want to push. The group is capped at six riders with a dedicated coach, so you get plenty of time and attention throughout the camp — plus room to work on the tricks you most want to land. Pre-requisites: – Carving confidently both switch and regular – Solid presses and press spins – Straight nollies and ollies What we’ll cover: – Body movement training – BS compass – Owen combos and Sone combos – Nollie 360s, 540s and 720s – Any trick requests from the group, you name it, we’ll drill down into it

Alts Bandai

Combined with the North Area, the Nekoma mountain area boasts 33 runs across 3 peaks. The South Area (formerly known as Alts Bandai) is connected to the hotel, with a cat-skiing and in-resort heli ski zone, a terrain park, as well as a 2.5 km groomed slope with majestic views of Lake Inawashiro. Night skiing is also available here.

Nekoma

Connected to the South Area via a chairlift, or walking trial at the top of the mountain, the North Area is where we go for deep powder runs and steep tree sections. With a terrain park to suit all riding levels, here’s where you level up without the pressure. When the storm’s coming in, the top lift is closed for days to accumulate pow – and we get first ride service to enjoy all that!

Inawashiro

The resort that made us fall in love with the Aizu mountain area. With a total of 10 chairlifts, 33 runs, and plenty of ungroomed areas and steep tree runs – everyone is spoilt for choice here. Inawashiro is split into 3 areas – Sky, Base and Minero with a good mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced slopes in each.

Gran Deco

A great resort for those learning how to ski or snowboard! Mellow terrain with no crowds make learning and practicing at Gran Deco a breeze without the pressure of avoiding others. Gran Deco also has an easy snow-surf park with easy rollers and small banks, along with wide open runs to practice carving too.
