We are looking for fun-loving, passionate individuals to join our team as travel hosts and instructors for the upcoming season 2024/25 in Japan!

Host & Instructor Requirements

Personality & Professionalism!

  • Friendly, outgoing, sociable. You should be an all-rounded people person as the role involves socialising with all guests.
  • Have great passion and enthusiasm to introduce snow sports to new-comers
  • Have great communication skills (in English)
  • Accountable and responsible for the welfare of all guests on the trip
  • Able to uphold professionalism and company values

Riding Ability & Qualifications

[For Hosts]: 

  • Very comfortable riding on all in-resort terrain (Green, blue, red & black terrain)
    • Navigating black terrain should be comfortable for you
  • Have experience riding off-piste & backcountry touring
    • A bonus, but not a strict requirement 
  • Hold a valid drivers license and is comfortable driving in snowy conditions


[For Instructors]: 

  • Hold a valid instructor license from a recognisable ski & snowboard certification organisation. (i.e NZSIA, SBINZ, BASI, CASI, etc)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guest communications, coordination & trip logistics
  • Planning & coordination of daily schedules, ski location & dining options
  • Assisting with guest rental fitting
  • Leading daily mountain orientation for all guests
  • Building relationships with our guests
  • Ad-Hoc shuttles to various destinations
  • Standby for emergencies


[For Instructors]:

  • All the above  + conduct lessons for guests for our progression camps
