Hakuba Hosted Experience
After 10 years and countless requests from the community, we’re finally heading to Hakuba! We’ll be staying in a ski-in ski-out private lodge located just 100m from Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort – with Goryu Wave Park and night skiing just at our doorstep. Throughout 6 days of riding, our hosts will be leading you around 5 of the best resorts in Hakuba together as a group, with a free and easy day for you to ride at your own pace, or take a break – it’s up to you. Whether you’re coming solo or with friends, we welcome riders of all levels. Our crew will split into smaller groups by skill level, so you’ll always have people to ride with — and push your limits. Our hosts will be on hand daily with tips, tricks, and good vibes all around.

HAKUBA: THE HEART OF THE JAPANESE ALPS
Hailed as the heart of the Japanese Alps in Nagano, Hakuba is known for it’s abundant snowfall across 10 ski areas in one valley, with a top elevation of 1700m at Happo One. Its altitude and varied terrain is a great place for beginners and advanced riders alike to explore, ride and progress.

Ride with our hosts
Get ready to fully explore 5 of the best ski resorts in Hakuba with us! Our hosts will lead you around each morning by splitting the group up according to skill level, so that you can progress at a good pace, improve your skills and explore safely with us.
We know this is not a boot camp and there’s no need to rush through your holiday, so take some time to yourself with a Free and Easy day in the middle of the week. Ride, eat, be merry — it’s all up to you.
Morning Mountain Orientation
Ride out with your hosts in small groups by skill level. Your hosts will guide you to the best lines for your ability, show you how to get around the slopes safely —and help you level up through the week.
Afternoon Free & Easy
Grab lunch, continue riding with new friends, go back to our favorite runs or start apres-ski early – it’s up to you!
Evening
Ride back to our ski-in ski-out lodge, head to the onsen, or continue with night-skiing at our home mountain of Hakuba Goryu. Dinner reservations will also be made each night at our favourite spots in Hakuba for those who want to head out. Prefer a quiet night in or on a budget? You’ll also have the option to cook and hang out at the lodge instead!
Each evening, our team of hosts will check the latest snow and weather conditions to pick the best resort for the next day, and give you tips on how to layer up properly!

Just like that, it’s Saturday again and you’ll be off to your next adventure, on or off the board – but this is not goodbye, it’s see you again!
If you’re heading to another location and would like to arrange for Ta-Q-Bin/ Black Cat to do a pick up for your bags, we’ll bring you to the nearest outpost on Friday evening before 6PM.

Our home for the week will be a private lodge just 100m away from Hakuba Goryu! You can enjoy night-skiing at our home resort of Goryu before heading back for the day, or stop at any time of the day and head back to your room to rest if you need a break. A mix of ensuite and shared-bathroom options are available.

Hakuba 47
Combined with the North Area, the Nekoma mountain area boasts 33 runs across 3 peaks. The South Area (formerly known as Alts Bandai) is connected to the hotel, with a cat-skiing and in-resort heli ski zone, a terrain park, as well as a 2.5 km groomed slope with majestic views of Lake Inawashiro. Night skiing is also available here.
Iwatake
Connected to the South Area via a chairlift, or walking trial at the top of the mountain, the North Area is where we go for deep powder runs and steep tree sections. With a terrain park to suit all riding levels, here’s where you level up without the pressure. When the storm’s coming in, the top lift is closed for days to accumulate pow – and we get first ride service to enjoy all that!
Happo One
The resort that made us fall in love with the Aizu mountain area. With a total of 10 chairlifts, 33 runs, and plenty of ungroomed areas and steep tree runs – everyone is spoilt for choice here. Inawashiro is split into 3 areas – Sky, Base and Minero with a good mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced slopes in each.
Tsuigaike
A great resort for those learning how to ski or snowboard! Mellow terrain with no crowds make learning and practicing at Gran Deco a breeze without the pressure of avoiding others. Gran Deco also has an easy snow-surf park with easy rollers and small banks, along with wide open runs to practice carving too.
