Today, your instructors will take you to the slopes to begin your lessons. The group will be split up according to your level of experience (first-timers vs beginners) and your instructors will have a lesson plan tailored according to your group’s overall ability, fitness and general progression.

After the full day of lessons, you will be familiar with strapping into your snowboard, skating around with your board, taking the chair lift as well as sliding and slowing down on both your heel side and toe side variations.

These skills will give you the confidence to make your way down beginner slopes slowly and carefully, as well as avoid any obstacles along the way. The day on the slopes will end at 4PM today and you’ll head back to the apartments to freshen up and prepare for dinner.

At the end of each day, feast on a full buffet dinner spread consisting of a wide variety of appetizers, mains and dessert - all conveniently located within our hotel accommodation.

Grocery stores are a little further out of town. Our team will make occasional grocery runs and will do a call out to anyone keen to get stocked up!

Day 3 of the camp is when we take it up a notch! The morning will be used to practice and improve your basic heel-side and toe-side progression.

Once your instructors see that you are ready, they will introduce to you the techniques of turning on a snowboard. You will use the next half of the day to practice and master both your C & S turns and eventually linking them up to make your turns as smooth as possible.

By the end of the day, you will have learnt all the necessary beginner techniques there are to snowboarding and it’s all about practice from here on.

Your 3rd day on the slopes is when you’ll start getting the hang of your newly learnt skills. The first 2 days are always the most challenging and from here on out, you’ll see improvements and progression a lot quicker. You will start to really understand the movements and techniques required and this is when you will really start to enjoy snowboarding and understand why so many are addicted to it.

Your instructor will use the day to fine-tune your techniques and ensure that no bad habits are formed during the course of your learning.

Day 5 is your free and easy day. We recommend taking a break from the slopes to rest up and recharge as 3 consecutive days on the slopes can take quite a toll on you. Take the day to relax, enjoy some good food and explore the town.

For those who can’t get enough of the slopes, feel free to head back to the mountains. Lift passes for today are already included in your package so make the most of it. You’ll be able to explore areas on the mountain where you previously have not been to during lessons. We’ll meet back for lessons on day 6.

Today we head out of Aomori Spring resort to an external hidden gem resort closeby for a much anticipated adventure.

Your instructor will guide you around the resort to explore the new runs, have a go at slightly steeper terrain and get to see the different terrain features of the resort. You’ll be amazed at the vastness of this amazing resort and snowboarding is so addictive.

Use the rest of the day to practice what you have learnt so far to reinforce the techniques and gain confidence snowboarding.

At the end of the day, we’ll take the group to a local onsen to freshen up before we head into the city centre for dinner. Here, you’ll have a wide variety of local restaurants to select from as well as some sightseeing of the local towns.

Put all you’ve learnt to the test on your last day on the slopes. Today you have the freedom to explore the whole of Aomori & really put your newly learnt skills to the test. You head up to the very top of the mountain as a ground to take in the amazing views and challenge yourself to the longest run of your trip thus far.

If time permits and you’re up for it, your instructor will introduce you to Aomori’s famous terrain park for your very first taste of freestyle. Landing your first small jump or 50-50 on a box will make your trip a truly memorable one and you can give yourself a good pat on the back for a really accomplishment on your first foray into snowboarding.

Before you know it, Saturday would have come again and it’s time to say goodbye. Enjoy your final day in Aomori, bid farewell to friends new & old and you’ll make your way to your next destination. We will be leaving together on the airport shuttle bus to Aomori Airport
